Literary Movement

Mary Shelleys work has typically been considered as a part of the gothic movement. She has also been included in the romanticsm movement along with fellow writers Percy Shelley and Byron. Her work has been analyzed many times over the years and typically drifts between those two. The gothic movement, which evolved from the romanticism movement, shows a great link. Both of these together allow Shelley to delve deep into great philosophical questions about life, love, and death.
